So What Does This Mean?
As of today, the property market has been released from lockdown and as such property viewings and valuations can be carried out where safe to do so. Removal firms and conveyancers are also restarting their business operations in earnest.
With an estimated £82 billion of property transactions on hold due to the coronavirus, this news will release a wave of demand into the housing sector - making this an opportune moment to buy, sell, rent and let property.
Some staff will continue to work from home but from Monday 18th May our offices will reopen under a closed-door policy.
For the safety of our staff, clients and the public, anyone who wishes to visit our offices in person will only be permitted to do so by making a prior appointment and will be required to adhere to our strict social distancing and sanitisation procedures.
VIEWINGS
We would like to reassure you that although we are now able to offer viewings on properties, we will still be adhering to the Government guidelines and operating social distancing and increased cleanliness measures in order to ensure the safety of our staff, our customers and the wider community.
If you would like to view a property, it is recommended that you request a virtual viewing first and only having done that should you travel to do a physical viewing.
VALUATIONS
Our valuation team are now able to visit properties to provide market appraisals and to take marketing details and photographs. Again, this will only be done under strict policies that we have put in place to ensure the safety of everyone involved.
These remain challenging times and now is not the time to throw caution to the wind.
